Announcement 1❣️
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be starting a new series with Galette! 💘
And once again, the cover is just too cute...!
In issue No.34, my work will be featured in the center color spread, which is such an honor!
I had a lot of fun drawing the color illustration too, so I’d be really happy if you took a look!
The title is “Koi ni Shitakunai na” 💘
I’ve been casually calling it “Koinana” as a short form—just something I made up for file naming and such (lol).
By the way, the character in the promo image is wearing a maid outfit, but there are no maids in the actual story…!!
It just happened to be Maid Day, so I thought, “Why not draw a maid for the promo?” …and ended up finishing at this hour the next day...!
The release is scheduled for June 1st to coincide with the COMITIA event (Galette won’t be participating, though ⚠️).

Announcement 2❣️
A new official X account for Ayu Inui has been launched!
It will mainly be used for:
Sharing announcements that I might forget to post myself
RTing illustrations I’ve uploaded to my main account
...and other updates.
The platform has been a bit unstable lately, so this account will also serve as a backup in case something happens to my main (like shadowbans, etc.)!
I’ll still be updating my main account as usual, but I don’t always have time to check social media… 💦
I hope this makes it easier to stay updated, so if you’d like, please give it a follow!☺️🙌
The account is being managed by YURI HUB, who also helps me with translation work 🌸
They’ll be handling some of the social media announcements for me, which means I can focus even more on making manga! 💪
I know I often seem to disappear from the internet, but I’ll also try to update Ci-en more regularly…!!
